Solo Trader

You can find us over at 21/412 on Sringeri Road in Shiva Nagar. It’s a bit of a mixed neighborhood with houses and small businesses all jumbled together. The road outside is usually quite busy, especially in the mornings when people are heading to work or taking their kids to school. Our space is not very big, just a simple room where we keep our things and a small area for sitting. We call it Solo Trader because it started out as just one person doing everything, and even though we have a couple more hands now, the name just stuck. It is a practical place. We have some metal shelving against the walls and a few lights that flicker a bit when they first turn on. Shiva Nagar is a decent place to be based, even if it gets a bit noisy during the day. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing department. People usually hear about us from someone else in the area. We spend most of the day just dealing with whatever orders come in and making sure the inventory is right. Sometimes we have to move the furniture around to make space for new arrivals. It’s the kind of place where you can just walk in and talk to whoever is behind the desk. We don't really have a dress code or anything like that; we just wear what is comfortable for moving boxes around. It is honest work and we just take it one day at a time.
