Exotika Mart

You can find Exotika Mart over in the Kargadde area of Vadodara. It’s a place that’s grown on us over time. We started this because we wanted something of our own in the neighborhood. The shop isn't a massive supermarket, just a regular place where we stock what people need. Vadodara has its own pace, and Kargadde is no different. Some days are quite slow, and we just sit and talk while waiting for people to come in. Other times, it’s a bit of a rush and we’re all hands on deck. We don't have a corporate office or a team of managers. It’s just us handling the shelves and the billing. The space is filled with all sorts of things, and sometimes it gets a bit cramped when new stock arrives. We try to keep it tidy, but it’s a working shop, so things aren't always perfect. We know most of the regulars by name. That’s the nice thing about being in a spot like this. It feels more like a community than just a business. We don't do much advertising; people just find us or hear about us from their neighbors. It’s a simple way to make a living. We’re just happy to be here in Kargadde. Every morning we open the shutters and see what the day brings. It’s a humble setup, but it works for us. We just keep the shelves full.
