Niranjana Provision Store

If you are near Nehru Circle in Challakere, you will find us on the right side of Balari Road. Niranjana Provision Store is just a small local shop for the people living nearby. We sell all the daily essentials like rice, dal, spices, and household items. The store is quite small, so we have to use every bit of space, with items stacked all the way to the roof. I have been running this store for many years and I know just about everyone who walks through the door. I know which families prefer which brands and I often hear all the local news from my customers. It’s a very personal way to do business. The mornings are always the busiest time as people stop by to get things for their daily meals. During the hot afternoons, it gets much quieter and I usually just sit by the counter with the fan on. We don't have any of the fancy displays you see in the big cities. It's just a simple neighborhood store. People come here because we are close to their homes and they know they can trust us. We often spend a few minutes chatting about the rain or the local festivals while I pack up their groceries. It isn't a big operation, but it’s an important part of life here in Challakere. We just keep the shelves stocked and wait for the next neighbor to stop by.
