You’ll find Aras Engineering Constructions up on the first floor of the Siddalingeshwara Complex. It’s right across from the private bus stand in Shikaripur. It’s a very busy area because of the buses, so there’s always people moving around. Being in Shimoga district means we handle a lot of local projects. We aren't a giant company from a big city. We are local people working here. The office is simple. We have our desks and some chairs for visitors. Most of our time is spent out on the field, not sitting in the office. We deal with engineering and construction work. It involves a lot of math and site inspections. Sometimes we are out in the sun all day. We’ve worked on various projects around Shikaripur. People here know us because we’re right by the bus stand. It’s a convenient spot for meetings. We don't do much marketing. Our work usually speaks for itself when people see the buildings going up. We take things as they come. Construction can be unpredictable with the weather and material supplies. We just try to keep everything on track. We've been doing this for a while now. It’s steady work and we enjoy being part of the community here. If you need to find us, just look for the complex near the bus station. There's usually someone around during the day, unless we are all at a site visit together.
