Acen General Store

Our shop is located at number 41 in Belaguru. It is a quiet enough spot in Hosadurga but we stay busy with the local folks coming in for their daily needs. The shelves are usually packed with everything from soap to snacks. It can get a bit disorganized when a big delivery comes in and we have to find space for all the new boxes. We opened this place because there was a need for a reliable shop right here on this stretch. We see the same faces almost every morning. Some people just come in for a quick chat and a pack of matches. The floor gets a bit muddy when it rains, so we are always sweeping it out. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just a regular general store where you can find what you need without a fuss. My nephew helps out on the weekends when it gets crowded. Sometimes we run out of things like milk or bread before the next truck arrives, but we try to keep the basics in stock. It is hard work standing on your feet all day, but it is what we do. The building itself is old but it stays cool enough in the summer. We close up once the sun goes down and the street gets quiet. It is a simple life here in Belaguru and we are just part of the neighborhood.
