Paridhi Food Processors Pvt. Ltd. is located over at 1562, Nehru Road. If you walk past our gate, you can usually smell whatever it is we are working on that day. It is a loud place because of the processing machines, so we all have to talk a bit louder than usual. We have about fifteen people working here on a regular shift. The building on Nehru Road has seen better days, the paint is peeling a bit near the loading dock, but it does the job just fine. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and the equipment because food stuff gets messy fast. It’s not an easy job and your back starts to ache after a few hours of standing by the conveyor belts. We have a small break room where we keep our lunch boxes. There is a window that looks out onto the street, and it’s nice to watch the cycles go by during our ten-minute rest. We handle different kinds of grains and food items, mostly just bulk processing for other companies. We don't really have a big fancy office, just a small cabin with a desk where we keep the logs. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour or two and we just sit outside in the shade until it comes back on. It’s just how things go around here. We try to keep things moving as best as we can without making too many mistakes.
