Shirvante Plastic

Shirvante Plastic is located on Azad Road in Thirthahalli. It is a small town, so everyone pretty much knows where everything is, but we are easy to spot. We deal with all kinds of plastic items, like chairs, water tanks, and smaller kitchen stuff. The shop has been here for years, and the building is one of those older styles with a heavy wooden door. We open up early because the farmers from the surrounding villages come into town in the morning to get what they need. Thirthahalli gets a lot of rain, especially during the monsoon, so we spend a lot of time making sure the plastic goods do not get too dirty or washed away. We keep the bigger items like the water tanks outside on the pavement under a plastic sheet. Inside, it is a bit of a maze with stacks of colorful basins and crates. It is mostly just me and my cousin working here. We do not have a computer system, so we write everything down in a big ledger book. Sometimes we sit outside on the plastic stools when there aren't many customers and watch the traffic go by on Azad Road. It is a quiet life for the most part. We do not do any big marketing or anything, people just come to us because we have been here so long. We just try to keep enough stock so that nobody has to go all the way to the city for a simple bucket.
