Pooja Trading Co.

We’re located in Shimoga, right on the Sawarkar Nagar Double Road near the B H Road Cross. Pooja Trading Co. has been a part of this neighborhood for a good while. The shop is on a fairly busy road, so there’s always people passing by and the sound of scooters. We keep things pretty simple here. It’s mostly about managing the stock and helping out the people who stop by to pick up what they need. Our space is filled with bags and boxes, and it’s not always the neatest place, but we know where everything is. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who handle the sales and the loading. It’s a lot of physical work and talking to customers throughout the day. We don’t use any fancy sales tactics or anything like that. We just tell people what we have and what the price is. The Shimoga weather can be a bit much sometimes, especially during the heavy rains, which makes it hard to move the goods around. But we’ve gotten used to it. Most of our business comes from folks in the surrounding areas who have known us for years. We just try to be reliable and get through the daily tasks. It’s a regular trading business, nothing more and nothing less. We open up early and close once the last customer leaves.
