Springfields

Springfields is our small establishment located in the Chhota Shimla area. We are positioned right opposite the Tibetan School. If you are walking around this part of Shimla, you have probably passed us a few times. It is a pretty active neighborhood with the school nearby and people always walking up and down the road. We have been here for quite some time, and the building itself has seen many seasons go by. Shimla winters can be quite harsh, and we spend a lot of our time making sure everything stays functional when the temperature drops. The rooms we have are basic and straightforward. We don't have any of those corporate policies or a big staff in uniforms. It is mostly just us and a few helpers keeping the place tidy. Sometimes the monkeys from the trees nearby get a bit bold, which is just part of living in the hills. We don't have a fancy website with professional photos; what you see when you walk in is exactly what you get. It’s a quiet enough spot once the school day ends and the traffic thins out. We just try to make sure there is hot water and a comfortable spot for whoever decides to stop by. Many of our guests are people coming for work at the nearby offices. We don’t promise anything grand, just a regular place to stay in a decent part of town.
