We work out of Cabin No. 403 in the BM Chambers building. This is located in Middle Bazaar, right in the heart of Shimla. Working in Shimla is a bit different than working in a flat city. You have to get used to the hills and the narrow streets of the bazaar. Our cabin isn't huge, but it has a great feel to it. BM Chambers is an older building, and it has that classic Shimla character. Most of our work involves communication and coordinating with people across the region. Because we are in the middle of the market area, there is always something happening outside. You can hear the sounds of the shoppers and the porters all day long. It's a lively place to be. We’ve been here for several years now, and we’ve grown fond of the walk up to the office every morning. Inside, it’s mostly computers, phones, and stacks of papers. We don't have a big corporate team; we are just a handful of people who know how to get things done in this terrain. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, especially when the snow starts falling, but we rarely close up. We just put on another sweater and keep working. If you are wandering through Middle Bazaar, we are just up the stairs in the chambers. It’s a modest office for a busy little company that likes being right in the center of town.
