Shahnaz Kashmir Emporium

Shahnaz Kashmir Emporium has been a part of Rohru for a long while. Our shop is right on Main Bazaar Road, which is always crowded and full of life. It’s a small place packed with stuff from back home. We have shawls, rugs, and all those handmade things people look for when they come through the bazaar. Most days it’s just us sitting here, waiting for customers and rearranging the stacks of wool. It gets cold here in Rohru, so we know what people need to stay warm. The shop isn't big or shiny, but it has everything we need to run the business. We try to keep things organized, though sometimes the piles of fabric get a bit messy when it’s busy. Dealing with the weavers and getting the stock over takes time. It’s a lot of back and forth. People stop by to chat as much as they do to buy anything. That’s just how the bazaar works. We have been in this same spot, watching the street change year after year. It is a simple life, really. We handle the goods, talk to the locals, and make sure we have enough stock for the season. Nothing fancy, just the emporium and the daily routine. If you walk down the main road, you can't miss us. We're usually there from morning until the sun goes down.
