Bhasoli

Bhasoli is part of the Kufri Holiday Resort, right in Kufri Village. Since we are up here in the hills, the vibe is a bit different than a city restaurant. The weather changes fast, and sometimes the mist rolls right up to the windows. We are at 171012, which is quite high up. Being inside the resort means we see a lot of travelers who are looking for a break from the road. The village itself is small and quiet compared to Shimla, but we still get our fair share of visitors. We kept the interior simple to match the mountain surroundings. It is a place where you can sit down and forget about the time for a bit. Our staff mostly comes from the nearby areas, so they know the local ways. We don't try to be something we aren't; it’s just a dining room where the food is warm and the seats are comfortable enough. When it snows, things slow down quite a bit, and we mostly just cater to the guests staying in the rooms. During the summer, it gets much busier with families on vacation. We have a standard routine for prep and service that we follow every day. It’s not a high-speed operation, and we like it that way. Most people find us through the resort, though some walkers from the village stop by too. It is a steady kind of life up here in the mountains and we just keep it going.
