Sanidhey Construction (Opc) Private Limited

This is Rakesh Chauhan’s place in Karai, which is part of Chaupal in Shimla. Being a one-person company means I wear a lot of hats. Sanidhey Construction is the name I use for the paperwork. Out here in the hills, construction is a lot of manual labor and figuring out how to get a truck up a dirt path. I spend most of my time outdoors at the work sites. The office is really just my home base in Karai. I work with a few local laborers when there's a big job to do. We build houses, sheds, and sometimes help with the local roads. It’s not a fancy life, but it’s what I know. The weather in Shimla can be tricky, so we have to work fast when the sun is out. I don't have a big staff or a secretary. If you call, you're talking to me. I try to keep my tools sharp and my plans simple. People around Chaupal know me, so I don’t need to spend money on ads. It's about being reliable and showing up when you say you will. Sometimes things get delayed because of a landslide or a bad storm, but we always finish what we start. It’s just me doing my best to build things that last in these mountains. It's quiet out here, but there is always plenty of work to keep a person busy from dawn till dusk. I just take things one day at a time.
