DLF Projects Limited has its office located in Sadar Bazaar, within the Jutogh Cantt area of Shimla. Being up here in Himachal Pradesh means the weather is usually quite cool, which is a nice change from the plains. The office is situated in a busy part of the bazaar where there is always a lot of foot traffic and local activity. It’s an old-fashioned kind of place, fitting for a town like Shimla. We don't have a modern glass office; it’s more of a traditional building that has seen many years. Inside, we have our desks and a lot of paper files because the internet can be a bit spotty up here in the hills sometimes. We spend our days managing various local tasks and keeping things organized. The walk to the office in Sadar Bazaar can be a bit steep, as is everything in Shimla, but it keeps us fit. We know most of the shopkeepers nearby and often grab a tea from the stall around the corner. It’s a simple way of working. We don't have any big corporate slogans or fancy mission statements on the walls. We just focus on the projects we have in front of us and try to get them done before the sun goes down and it gets really cold. The winter months are a bit slower because of the snow, but we stay open and keep the heaters going. It’s just a regular office.
