Rakesh Banshtu Infrastructure

This is Rakesh Banshtu Infrastructure, based out of Village Anu in the Rohru area. We are tucked away near P.O. Basa. My father, Darshan Dass, lived here too, and we’ve been part of this village for a long time. Our work is all about infrastructure projects around Rohru and the wider Shimla district. It’s a lot of time spent on the roads and at various construction sites. The office is really just part of the family home where we handle the books. We don’t have a big staff, just a few reliable guys who know how to work hard. Rohru is a place where everyone knows everyone, so we have to do a good job or word gets around fast. We deal with the typical mountain problems—landslides, cold weather, and narrow paths. It makes every project a bit of a puzzle. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation. We just want to keep the local projects moving and make sure the work is done properly. Some days we are out at dawn and don't get back until the sun is long gone. It’s a tiring job but it feels good to see a project finished. We don’t use any fancy talk or marketing tricks. We just show up and do what needs to be done. It is hard work but it is our life and we are used to it.
