Raib Construction (Opc) Private Limited

Raib Construction (Opc) Private Limited is a one-person company run by me. My office is located at Panta Niwas in Bhagwati Nagar, which is in Lower Khalini, Shimla. The house belongs to Roshan Lal Panta, and I work from a small room there. Since it’s just me, I handle everything from the site visits to the bill payments. I don't have a big team of managers. I usually hire local workers whenever I have a project on hand. Lower Khalini is where I’ve spent a lot of my time, and I know the neighborhood very well. Construction in Shimla is mostly about managing the slopes and the rain. I spend my days driving around to different spots to see how the work is going. My desk is usually covered with blueprints and some half-empty cups of tea. I don’t have a marketing budget or any fancy flyers. If someone needs a wall fixed or a small house built, they usually just give me a call or stop by Panta Niwas. I like the independence of running my own small business. It’s a lot of responsibility, but it feels good to see a project finished. I’m just a local guy trying to make a living by building things properly. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what I know how to do best.
