Pulse Wave Media

Down here in Shimla, we run Pulse Wave Media. People think working in the hills is all about the views, and while that is true sometimes, it’s also a lot of regular work. Our office isn’t anything too special, just a comfortable place where we can sit with our computers and get things done. The weather can be a bit of a challenge in the winters when it gets really cold, but we just bundle up and keep the heaters going. We started this because we wanted to do something creative right here in our hometown. Most of us grew up in these hills, so we don't mind the steep walks or the winding roads. We aren't trying to be some big city agency. We just like doing work for the people who find us. Some days are slow and we spend time just looking out at the mist, but other days are hectic with deadlines. It’s a small team, so everyone does a bit of everything. There’s no strict hierarchy or fancy titles. We just sit around the table, figure out what needs to happen, and then we do it. Shimla is a small place in some ways, and word gets around, so we just try to be decent and stay busy. It's a simple life, and the air is good, which helps when the work gets stressful. We don't need much more than our laptops and a good cup of tea to keep going.
