Sheopur Agro Farmers Producer Companylimited is basically just a group of us who live and work around the Ladpura area. Harpal Singh has been kind enough to let us use this space for our operations. It is not a big corporate building, just a spot where we can meet and talk about what's happening in the fields. We deal with a lot of different crops depending on the season. In Sheopur, the weather dictates everything we do. Sometimes the rain is late and everyone is stressed. Other times we have a good year and the mood is a bit lighter. We are mostly focused on getting things from the farm to where they need to go without losing too much money along the way. It’s a lot of phone calls and scribbling notes on bits of paper. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. Most of us have dirt under our fingernails because we’re still out there working our own land.
