Bahadurpur Vegetable Farmer Producer Company Limited

In the village of Kalwari, which is in the Bahadurpur block, we started the Bahadurpur Vegetable Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our home base is right at House Number 25. We focus mostly on vegetables, just like the name says. Growing greens and other produce is what we have always done, so we figured making it a formal company would be a smart move for the group. It is just a collection of us from the village. We meet up at the house to talk about which crops are doing well and how we can get them to the local markets. Kalwari is a small place, so everyone pretty much knows everyone else’s business anyway. We do not have any marketing people or fancy talkers. It is just us farmers trying to figure out the best way forward. Sometimes the market prices are decent, and sometimes they are pretty bad, but being together helps us handle the stress. The Bahadurpur area has some good soil for the vegetables we grow. We spend most of our time out in the dirt, not sitting in an office chair. This producer company is just our way of staying a bit more organized. We do not have any big secrets or complex plans. We just want to grow good vegetables and keep our families going. It is honest work and it is what we know best.
