Mahalaxmi Enterprises

Our place, Mahalaxmi Enterprises, sits right at Beru Chowk in the main market of Sameerpur. If you know the chowk, you know how loud and busy it gets with all the vendors and shoppers. It’s the heart of the market, really. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time. The building is older, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for what we need. We handle a lot of different items, and the stock is always changing depending on what people are asking for that month. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you’ll usually see one of us sitting by the cash box or moving boxes in the back. The mornings are usually spent dealing with suppliers and trying to find space for new crates. The aisles are narrow because we try to fit as much as we can into the store. In the afternoons, it gets a bit quieter, and we usually have time to grab some tea from the stall nearby. We don’t have any big mission or anything like that. We just want to make sure the people in Sameerpur can find what they need without having to travel too far. It’s a lot of standing and talking to people, which can be tiring, but it keeps us busy. That’s just life at Beru Chowk and we are used to the noise and the crowds.
