Viwai Agriculture Producer Company Limited is run by Akbar Ali and the team out in Saadpur, which is near Rohana in the Muzaffarnagar district. We are right in the heart of the farming belt here. It’s a busy place with a lot of tractors and bullock carts moving around. We started this company to give the local guys a bit more power when they go to sell their harvests. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning. It’s a practical space where we store supplies and meet up to talk about the sugarcane or the wheat. Muzaffarnagar is known for its farming, and we are proud to be part of that. We don't use big words or try to sound like we are from a big city. We talk like the people we are—farmers and locals. Sometimes the market is tough and we have to spend hours figuring out how to cut costs. Other times, things go smooth and we can breathe a little easier. We deal with the daily chores of agricultural life. That means checking the seeds, looking at the water levels, and making sure the laborers are doing okay. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we do it because it’s our life. We don't have any slogans. We just work the land and help our people do the same. It is a long day from start to finish, but that is just the way we like to live our lives.
