Brain Zone School

We are located right here in Town Shamli on the Meerut Road. If you are coming from the Hasanpur Bus Stand, it’s just a short walk over. The Lank District gets pretty busy during the mornings, especially when the buses are pulling in and out. I started working at Brain Zone School a few years back and it’s mostly just us looking after the local kids from the neighborhood. The building isn't anything fancy, but it does the job. Most days start early when the sun is just coming up over the road. We spend a lot of time cleaning up the dust that comes off the main road because of all the traffic. It’s a bit noisy with the horns honking, but you get used to it after a while. The children come from all around the Lank area, some walking and some on bicycles. We don't have a big office or anything, just a few rooms where we sit and talk about the lessons. It gets quite hot in the afternoons here in Shamli, so we try to keep the windows open for a breeze. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside in the shade for a bit. It is a simple place where we just focus on getting through the books. We’ve known most of the families around here for a long time now. It feels more like a part of the village than a big institution. We just do the work we need to do each day.
