Kashish Bricks

Kashish Bricks is situated right on the Main Road in Shahjahanpur, not far from the post office. Being on the main road means it’s always loud with the sound of passing trucks and buses. It makes it easy for customers to find us, though. We spend our days making bricks, which is a lot of dirt and physical labor. There’s always dust on everything, including the small room we use for our paperwork. We don't have any fancy stuff like air conditioning or nice furniture. It’s just a place to get the job done. The weather around here plays a big role in how much we can produce. If it’s too rainy, the kilns are hard to manage. We just take the good days with the bad. We aren't a large company; it’s just a few of us from the local area. Most of the time, we’re busy checking the quality of the batches or talking to the drivers who come to pick up loads. We don't have a mission statement or a polished sales pitch. We just try to make sure the bricks are solid and get the orders out. Sometimes the equipment breaks down and we spend half the day fixing it ourselves. It’s a simple, straightforward operation. We wear our work clothes every day and don't worry about looking corporate. People around Shahjahanpur know who we are, and that’s plenty for us.
