Global International School

Global International School is out here in Shahjahanpur. It’s a bit of a distance from the main city center, which actually makes it a little quieter for the students. We have some open space around the building which is nice for the children to run around. The school itself is a plain concrete structure that we try to keep as tidy as possible. Every morning, the buses pull in and the whole place comes to life instantly. We have a lot of students from the nearby villages and the surrounding towns. The classrooms are simple with rows of benches and a table for the teacher at the front. We don't have all the modern gadgets you see in the big city schools, but we have the basics covered. The 242001 area can be quite dusty, so we are always cleaning the furniture and the floors. During the rainy season, the field gets a bit muddy and we have to tell the kids to stay on the paved paths. The staff room is where we sit and have our tea while grading papers or planning for the next week. It’s a slow and steady kind of life here. We don't have any big corporate goals; we just want the kids to learn their lessons and go home safely. It’s a local school for local people, and we are fine with that.
