Shri Gayatri Mahashakti Inter College Banda

We are located over here in the Banda area of Shahjahanpur. It is a quiet spot mostly, though it gets very busy in the mornings when the students start arriving. Most of the kids come from the nearby villages and walk or take bicycles to reach the gates. The building itself is quite straightforward, with classrooms lined up and a small playground area where everyone gathers for the morning assembly. We’ve been here for a while now, and the local people know the spot well. There is a lot of dust during the dry season, so we spend a fair amount of time keeping the rooms clean and making sure the benches are ready. The walls have been painted a few times over the years, and we have some old trees that give a bit of shade during the hot afternoons. It isn’t fancy, but it serves the purpose for the families around here who need a place for their children to study. You can hear the teachers talking from the hallway and the sound of chalk on the boards. In the winter, the sun hits the front courtyard nicely, and that’s where the staff usually sits for a quick tea break. We just keep things running day to day, making sure the registers are marked and the lessons are finished. It is a lot of routine work, but that is how a school in a place like this stays organized.
