Down in Jattan Mohalla in SBS Nagar, that’s where you will find Computer Cares. It is tucked away a bit from the main road but the locals around here know exactly where we are. We handle mostly repair work for people living in the neighborhood. Desktops, laptops, and even those heavy old monitors if someone still has one they use. SBS Nagar is a nice area and we have been here for quite some time now. The shop is usually full of half-taken-apart machines and boxes of old power supplies. It is just me and a helper most days of the week. We don’t have a fancy website or any of that modern stuff. If your computer starts making a loud grinding noise or the screen just goes black, you bring it in and we will see what is wrong with it. Sometimes it is just a loose wire, other times the whole motherboard is fried. We tell people straight what it is going to cost to fix. Some days are very slow and we just clean the shop, and other days we have people waiting outside before we even get the keys in the door. Jattan Mohalla is a tight-knit area so news travels fast. We keep some basic accessories like mice and cheap headphones on the shelf near the door for students. It is a simple setup and we like it that way.
