Shepoumaramth Farmer Producer Company Limited is located right by the Senapati Tool Gate in Makhrelui. We are based at the spot where S. P. Paul helps out with the management. Being near the tool gate is actually quite handy because it is a main point for transport and travel in the area. Our group is made up of local farmers from around Senapati who wanted to join forces. Doing things as a producer company helps us get better access to things like seeds or selling our crops at a fair price. It is a very hands-on kind of business. We do not have a flashy office or a big staff. It is just us farmers and a few people to help with the paperwork and the logistics. Most of the time, we are either out in the fields or standing near the tool gate waiting for a delivery or a pickup. It can get a bit dusty and loud with all the trucks passing through, but it is part of the job. We are not here to make any grand statements. We just want to make sure that the people growing food in Makhrelui have a way to stay in business. We deal with the realities of farming every day, from the rain to the soil. It is just honest work that keeps us busy from morning until evening. We just keep going and try to make things work for all the farmers in our group.
