Malwa Concrete Udyog Private Limited is based out here in Thoona Kalan. We've been set up near the railway station for a while now. It's a busy spot with the trains coming and going, but it works for what we do with concrete. Most days you’ll find the yard full of activity. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s mostly just us getting the mixing done and making sure things are ready when people need them. The dust is part of the job, and we’re used to it by now. People usually find us by looking for the station signs. Being close to the tracks makes transport easier, I guess. We aren't trying to be the biggest outfit around, just a local place doing our work in this corner of the town. The weather hits us hard sometimes, especially in the heat, but the work doesn't stop. We've got our machines and our routine. If you come by, you’ll see the bags piled up and the mixers running. It’s loud and it’s messy, but that is just how concrete work goes. We know the area well and most of the folks around here know where we sit. It’s a straightforward setup. No one here wears a suit, that is for sure. We just focus on the concrete and keep the place running as best as we can every day. It's simple work but someone has to do it.
