Ag Biosystems Pvt. Ltd. is located at #61 Chandragiri Colony in Trimulgherry. It’s a quiet residential-feeling neighborhood, which makes our work a bit more peaceful. We spend a lot of our time looking into the science of farming. Our building isn’t a high-tech lab you’d see in a magazine; it’s more of a converted space that we’ve made work for us. We have tables set up with different soil samples and some basic testing kits. We started this because we wanted to help people get more out of their land using biological methods. There’s a small team of us here, and we usually eat our lunch together at the back. We don’t have a marketing department to come up with slogans. We just talk about the results we see in our tests. Being in Trimulgherry is nice because it’s a bit away from the heaviest city traffic, though the morning commute can still be a pain. Sometimes we spend the whole day just looking at plant roots or checking the pH levels of water. It’s slow, careful work. We keep our notes in handwritten logs as much as on the computer. People from the colony sometimes stop by to ask about their own gardens, and we try to give them a bit of advice if we have the time. We aren’t trying to change the world overnight. We are just a few people interested in biology and how it helps plants grow better.
