Sri Mallikarjuna Swamy Shilpi Works

We've been over here at Sri Sai Nagar Colony in Lothkunta for a good while now. The workshop is right near Gabriel High School, so you can probably hear us working if you’re walking by. It is just a small place at 1-16-79/1 where we handle different stone and sculpture jobs. Mostly it is just us getting our hands dirty with the tools and making sure the work gets done like it is supposed to. People usually find us easily because we are right opposite those Abhishek Apartments. It gets pretty dusty inside most days with all the cutting and shaping going on. We don't really do much fancy talk here. If someone comes in asking for something specific, we just sit down and see what can be done with the materials we have. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to work outside, but we manage. Most of the folks around Trimulgherry know where we are. It’s not a big corporate office or anything like that. Just a regular spot where we keep our supplies and do the actual carving. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay busy. It’s quiet enough around here except for when the machines are running. We just like to keep things simple and local. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot, but we just stay here doing our work. It’s a lot of manual labor and it takes time to get things right.
