Sofa Factory

We've been here at Mahendrahills for a while now. The workshop is at 137/B Street 2 in Dhanalakshmi Colony. It's a busy spot but we like it. Most days involve a lot of wood and foam everywhere. We just get on with making things people can sit on comfortably. Secunderabad has a lot of furniture shops, but we stay small and keep it simple here. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty when we're cutting frames. My hands are usually covered in glue or something. People find us by asking around the neighborhood mostly. We don't have a big fancy showroom, just the workspace where the actual work happens. It’s practical. If someone needs a couch fixed or a new one made, they just walk in and talk to us. We use basic tools and reliable materials that last. It's not about being the biggest, just about doing what we know how to do. The heat in the afternoon can be a lot, but we keep the fans going. It’s been our daily routine for years. Every piece we finish goes out on a small truck through these narrow streets. It’s honest work and we enjoy seeing a finished sofa ready for someone's home. You can usually hear the staple guns and saws from down the road. We stay open late most nights to finish orders. Nothing too complicated, just a local spot making furniture and helping out neighbors. We keep going until the work is done.
