Aarthi Furniture Works is located over in New Boiguda at 6-5-109/A/1. If you come by Secunderabad, you’ll find us in a neighborhood that’s full of small shops and workshops. Our place is usually filled with the smell of sawdust and wood glue. We spend most of our days cutting, sanding, and putting things together. It’s not a clean showroom like the ones you see in the mall. It’s a workshop where real work happens. There are tools everywhere and piles of wood waiting to be used. We have a small team of guys who know their way around a saw. We don’t have a secretary or anyone to answer the phones in a professional way. Usually, one of us just wipes our hands and picks up the phone when it rings. Things can get pretty messy when we have a big project going on. We work on all kinds of furniture, mostly just whatever people ask us to make for their homes. Sometimes we’re busy with chairs, other times it’s big wardrobes. We don’t really do any advertising. Most people just walk in or hear about us from someone else in the area. It’s a simple life and the work is hard on the hands, but we like seeing a finished piece at the end of the week. The address is easy to find if you know the New Boiguda area well. We’ve been here for years and we just keep the shop going every day.
