You can find us at Palette World Institute Of Creative Art over in Sikh Village. We are on the first floor of Plot 155, just behind the Bank Of Baroda on Hasmatpet Road. It’s a bit of a quiet spot, which is nice for an art place. We have a lot of different things going on here, mostly people painting or making things. The walls are covered in stuff our students have done over the months. It’s not a gallery where you can’t touch anything; it’s a working studio. There is usually paint on the floor and brushes soaking in jars. We started this because there weren't many places in this part of Hyderabad to just sit and be creative. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything. People usually hear about us from their friends or neighbors. It’s a simple setup with good light from the windows. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed so nobody feels pressured. Whether you’re good at art or just starting out, it doesn’t really matter to us. We just provide the space and the tools. Sometimes the classes get a bit chatty, but that’s part of the fun. It’s a local spot for local people. We’ve been here in the 500009 area for a while and we plan to stay. It’s just a honest place to spend some time making art without any fuss.
