If you are looking for No Mads Tattoos & Textiles Design, we are at plot number 4 in Sainikpuri. We are right across from the More Supermarket, which makes us pretty easy to find if you’re in the neighborhood. It’s a bit of an unusual mix, doing tattoos and textile design in the same place, but it makes sense to us. The shop isn't very large. We’ve decorated the walls with some of our own work and sketches. It feels more like a workshop than a store. Secunderabad has a nice vibe in this area, a bit quieter than the main city parts. I usually spend my mornings working on textile patterns and then the afternoons are for the tattoo appointments. It gets a bit messy sometimes with ink and fabric scraps everywhere. We aren't the type of place that’s super formal. You can just walk in and see what we’re up to. Sometimes we are just sitting there drinking chai and drawing. It’s a small operation. Just a couple of us who like making things. We’ve had people come in for a tattoo and end up looking at the fabric prints too. We don't do much advertising. People mostly just see the sign when they're going to the supermarket and wander in. It’s a simple life. We like the creative freedom we have here. It is just a real place for real work.
