Melanger

Our spot is inside the Shopping Arcade at Hotel Green Park over in Begumpet. Being in a hotel building makes things feel a bit different than a regular street shop. It is cleaner and quieter, which is nice when you are trying to concentrate. Melanger has been in this arcade for some time now. You see a lot of travelers passing through the lobby, and sometimes they wander into the arcade to see what is there. Begumpet is a busy part of the city, so it’s good to have this little corner that feels a bit tucked away from the traffic outside. The shop itself is not huge, but we make the most of the space we have. We keep the lights on and the door open during the day. It’s a straightforward setup where we keep our stock and handle the daily bits of business. Sometimes the hotel staff comes by for a chat or we go out to the main area to grab a coffee. It’s a professional enough environment because of the hotel, but inside the shop, it’s just us doing our thing. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It is just a place to work and meet people who are looking for what we have. Most of our regulars know exactly where to find us in the arcade. It’s a simple routine and it works well for us. We really don't mind the smaller space at all.
