Laxmi Trading Company is located in Alwal, specifically in the Saraswathi Nagar Colony at P.No. 129/C. If you know the Lothukunta area, we aren't too hard to find. It’s a residential neighborhood that’s gradually had more businesses pop up. Our place is basically a big storeroom with a small desk tucked into the corner. We deal with a lot of different goods, so you’ll see boxes of all sizes stacked up almost to the ceiling. It can be a bit of a squeeze getting around sometimes. We spend a lot of time on the phone with suppliers and checking the inventory lists. It’s a lot of counting and making sure the labels match the manifests. Some days are slow, and we just sit and wait for the next delivery truck, while other days everyone is rushing to get a shipment ready for a customer. We don't have any fancy signage or a big glass storefront. It’s just a gate and a door where we do our business. The neighbors are mostly families, so we try not to make too much noise early in the morning or late at night. Sometimes we have tea brought in from the local stall down the road. It’s a simple operation, run by a few of us who just want to keep things moving. We’ve been at this spot for years and know most of the delivery drivers by name.
