Annapurna Paper Works

We operate out of Flat 101 in the Bharati Block at Venkateswera Heights. Nacharam is a pretty active area in Secunderabad. Dealing with paper means we always have stacks of sheets and boxes lying around the office. It gets a bit cramped sometimes with all the inventory. We spend most of our time coordinating orders and checking the quality of the paper we get. My desk is usually covered in scraps and notes. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. Just a small team working out of this apartment block at D. No. 4-1-77/1. Some people find it odd that a paper business is right here, but it works for us. The stairs can be a pain when heavy deliveries come in. We’ve had to get used to the noise of the neighborhood. Secunderabad has its own pace and we just fit in where we can. There is always something to do, whether it's counting reams or talking to the guys who do the shipping. We don't have a big sign out front. It’s mostly just us doing the daily grind and making sure the paper goes where it’s supposed to go. Sometimes the lift in the building doesn't work, which makes things interesting. We just take it one day at a time. It’s a lot of manual work moving those heavy boxes around, and our backs usually hurt by Friday. We just keep at it because the work needs to be done.
