Pankaj Jain

My name is Pankaj Jain and I run my business from 1/618 in the Housing Board Colony of Sawai Madhopur. Rajasthan is a great place to be, though it gets incredibly hot during the summer months. Here in the colony, things are a bit quieter than in the center of town. I’ve set up my workspace in a part of the house. It’s a very basic arrangement. I have my desk and my files all laid out so I can find what I need. I’ve lived in Sawai Madhopur for a long time, so I know a lot of the families around here. Most people know me by name. I don’t believe in making things more complicated than they need to be. I just take the orders as they come and try to get them finished. It’s a simple life. Sometimes I go out for a walk in the evenings when it cools down a bit. The Housing Board Colony is a decent place for a small operation like mine. There’s no need for a big office building when you can do everything from right here. I don’t have any fancy titles or a bunch of employees. It’s just me and the work. I like the independence it gives me. Being in this part of Rajasthan means you learn to be patient and just keep working through the day. That’s how I’ve always done it. I am glad to be here in Sawai Madhopur doing my thing.
