Vrisa Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are over in the Naugaon area, specifically at a place called Bandya Ki Dhani in Gangapur. The name we use for our business is Vrisa Farmer Producer Company Limited. It is a bit of a long name, so we just go by Vrisa when we are talking to people. This part of Sawai Madhopur is where most of our members live and do their work. We aren't in a big town with paved roads and streetlights everywhere. It is a rural setup. We started this company because the farmers around here really needed a way to work together to get things done. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room with chairs. It is usually just one of us sitting at a wooden desk with some old ledgers and a mobile phone. We spend a lot of our time out in the fields rather than inside. People come to the office in Bandya Ki Dhani when they have a problem to sort out or when we are organizing a new load of supplies. It is a very local thing. We know everyone’s name and whose land is where. Being in Sawai Madhopur, we deal with the heat and the specific crops that grow well in this soil. It is hard work and things don't always go exactly as we planned. Machines break down and the weather is unpredictable. But we keep the company going because it matters.
