Site Engineer

Our spot is at 3/59 in Virat Nagar, which is right behind the A. I. R. station in Sawai Madhopur. It’s a quiet enough area most days, except when the local traffic picks up. Being a Site Engineer in a place like this means you spend half your time on a bike and the other half looking at maps. The office isn't much to look at, just a room with some files and my old computer that takes forever to start up. I’ve lived in Sawai Madhopur for years, so I know how the ground behaves around here. When someone needs a site checked, they just drop by 3/59. The Virat Nagar neighborhood is changing, more houses going up every month. I spend a lot of time checking columns and making sure the labor is following the drawings. It's dusty work, and my boots are always brown by the end of the shift. I don't really do the whole corporate thing, I just talk to people plainly. If the steel is wrong, I tell them. If the concrete mix looks dry, we fix it. Sometimes the neighbors from behind the radio station come over for a chat. It’s a simple setup. I handle the technical stuff so the owners don't have to worry about their walls cracking later on. It’s just how we do things here. We don't have a receptionist, so if you call, you'll probably just talk to me directly.
