We’re set up in House No 116 in the Balmandir Colony area of Sawai Madhopur. Even though the main company is from Ahmedabad, this is where we handle things for the Rajasthan side of the work. It’s a residential-feeling neighborhood, so it stays pretty calm around here most days. The office is basically just a house that we’ve converted into a workspace. It’s got everything we need to keep track of the engineering projects in this region. We don't have a big receptionist or a waiting room. Usually, you just walk in and one of us will be at a desk with a bunch of papers. We spend a lot of time checking on the local sites. The weather in Sawai Madhopur can get really dry, so we try to stay inside during the peak heat. Our team is small and we’ve all known each other for a long time. There's no corporate hierarchy feel here. We just discuss what needs doing and then we do it. It’s a very hands-on way of working. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a report or a plan. We use simple tools and don't worry too much about having the latest gadgets. As long as the engineering is solid, we're happy. It's a humble spot but it works for us. We're just a local branch doing our part.
