Hotel Aman I Khas

Out here in Sherpur Khilchipur, life moves at a different pace than it does in the bigger cities. Being so close to Sawaimadhopur means we are right in the middle of all that dust and greenery that Rajasthan is known for. Hotel Aman I Khas isn't just a place to sleep; it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. The staff mostly comes from the villages nearby, so there’s a lot of local talk in the kitchen during break times. 322001 is the pin code, but to us, it’s just home. We spend a lot of time making sure the rooms are okay and the grounds don't get too overrun by the wild bushes. Sometimes you can hear animals in the distance, which is pretty normal for us but guests seem to find it exciting. The sun gets really hot by noon, so we usually try to finish the heavy outdoor work early in the morning. It’s a simple operation really. We don’t use those big fancy management systems you see in movies. Instead, we write things down and talk to each other to get the work done. There is always something to fix, whether it is a leaky pipe or a door that won't shut right because of the humidity. It’s just us, working in the dirt and the sun, making sure the place stays standing for whoever shows up next.
