Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya

We are located over here in Chitrakoot-Mp, right by the Ho area. It’s a pretty busy spot during the mornings when the buses pull in. Most people around here know where Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is because we’ve been part of the neighborhood for quite some time now. The building sits on a decent piece of land and there is always something going on, whether it is classes or just keeping the grounds tidy. It gets really dusty in the summer months, so we spend a lot of time cleaning up the hallways. The teachers are usually in their rooms by eight. We don't have fancy stuff, just the basics for the kids to get their work done. Living and working in Madhya Pradesh, you get used to the pace of things here. It's not a rush like in the big cities. Sometimes the mail takes a bit longer to reach the 485334 zip code but we manage. You’ll see the kids out on the field in the evenings if the weather is nice. We just try to keep the place running smooth every day. There is a lot of paperwork to handle in the office, and the bell rings every forty-five minutes or so. It’s just a regular school day for us most of the time. Nothing too complicated, just making sure the gates are locked at night and everyone is where they should be.
