Saeed Momin

I’ve got my setup here at Karve Naka in Karad. It is right in the middle of things, so it’s never really quiet around here. Being in this part of Maharashtra means we deal with a lot of dust from the roads and the constant sound of trucks passing through. The address is pretty straightforward for anyone who lives in the 415110 area code. I started out in a smaller room down the street but moved to this spot because it was a bit more convenient for people to find me. The office is nothing special, just some basic furniture and a computer that’s seen better days. I usually have tea around four o’clock with the guy from the shop next door. That’s when the heat starts to die down a little bit. Karad is a good town, though it can get slow during the monsoon when the rain just doesn’t stop for days. I don't really have a big fancy sign outside, just the name on the door so people know they’ve hit the right place. Most of my work comes from folks who live nearby or saw me while they were waiting at the junction. It’s a practical way to run things, I think. I don’t spend much time worrying about how things look as long as I get my tasks finished before the sun goes down. It's just a one-man operation most of the time, and I prefer it that way.
