Our place is located at Plot No. 4 in Vynkatpura Peth, over here in Satara. It's 29/1 if you're looking for the exact number on the gate. We do a lot of work with spherocast iron, which means the foundry is usually pretty hot and busy most of the time. It’s definitely not the kind of job where you stay clean for very long. Most of the guys here have been working with metal for a long time, so they know the smell of the shop floor by heart. We deal with a lot of casting work. It’s heavy stuff. The area in Vynkatpura Peth is mostly industrial, so there is always trucks moving in and out with supplies. Satara is a good town, and we’re glad to be part of the local business scene here. It’s a Private Limited company on paper, but on the ground, it’s just a group of people making sure the molds are right and the metal is pouring correctly. We have a routine that starts early in the morning before the sun gets too high. Sometimes things go wrong with a batch of metal, and we have to start all over, but that’s just how it goes in this industry. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the day is spent on the floor, making sure everything is running like it should. It’s noisy and dusty, but it’s our living.
