Jothi Malleables P.Ltd. is based out near Satar Road. The address we use is P.O.Satar Rd. 00. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the big cities, but we keep our workshop busy. We work with malleable iron mostly. The facility isn't something you'd see in a magazine. It's a functional space with high ceilings and plenty of soot. That’s the nature of the work. We start early when it’s still cool outside. The heat from the furnaces makes the afternoons tough, but we have a routine. Most of the staff has lived on Satar Road or nearby for their whole lives. We know each other well. It’s not a high-pressure corporate environment. We just have work to finish and we do it. Sometimes the road gets dusty when the wind picks up. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of salespeople. We just rely on the fact that we've been here for a long time. People know where to find us if they need this kind of metal work. We keep the equipment running as best we can. It’s an old-school way of doing things, but it works for us. We often have tea together during the breaks and talk about whatever is going on in the village. It helps keep the mood light when the workload is heavy.
