We have been here at Patkhal for quite a while now. It is a quiet spot, just past the main post office. If you are looking for our gate, it is pretty easy to find once you get into the village area. Most of us here have spent years working on these gears and mechanical parts. It is noisy work, but it is what we know how to do. The shop floor stays busy from early morning until the sun goes down. Sometimes we fall behind on the paperwork because we are mostly out back checking the machines. People around here know us as the place that handles the heavy stuff. We do not have a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a few desks near the entrance and a lot of grease on our hands. The tea stall down the road is where we usually take our breaks. It gets dusty in the summer, but the work keeps moving along regardless of the weather. We try to keep things simple. If a part needs fixing or if someone is looking for a specific transmission setup, they just walk in and ask. There isn't a lot of ceremony here. We just focus on getting the day's tasks finished so we can head home. It is a regular job for regular people. We have seen a lot of changes in the district over the years, but our spot in Patkhal stays pretty much the same.
