You can find us on Shaniwar Peth street in Satara. The building number is 819 A. It is an old part of town and the streets are narrow. The smell of spices is very strong whenever you come near our door. We spend our days grinding peppers, turmeric, and all sorts of other things. It makes everyone sneeze once in a while. We are a small team and we do most of the work by hand. We don't have many big machines because we like to see the quality of what we are making. The shop is always a bit dusty with the spice powder. Customers come in from the street and talk to us while we pack things up. Satara is a place where people still care about where their food comes from. We have been here for a while and we know the neighbors. We do not do much in the way of marketing. Most people just see the sign or hear about us from their family. It is a simple life and the work is hard on the hands. But we enjoy being in the middle of the market area. Every evening we lock up the shutters and head home. The next day we do it all over again. It is just what we do. The rain sometimes gets in through the old door, but we manage.
