Sardarshahar Acadamy Senior Secondary School is right here in the heart of Sardarshahar. Churu gets pretty hot in the summer, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working and the water coolers are full. We are just a group of people trying to run a decent school for the local kids. There is nothing too complicated about our setup. We have the usual classrooms, a small library, and a space for sports. Most of our staff live nearby, so we see each other at the market or at local events. It makes the school feel more like a part of the town. We don't go in for all those modern buzzwords you hear in education these days. We just stick to the syllabus and try to make sure the students understand what they are reading. Sometimes the printer breaks down right when we need to hand out exams, or the bell rings a few minutes late, but we just roll with it. That is just how life is here. People in Sardarshahar are hardworking, and we try to reflect that in how we run things. We are just here to do a job and help the next generation get through their schooling without too much fuss. The dust in Churu can get into everything, so we are always sweeping the floors. It’s a never-ending job. We have some trees in the corner of the property that provide a little bit of shade, which is where everyone wants to be during the break. Our classrooms are simple with whiteboards and enough benches. We don't have a lot of extra gadgets. We think kids learn better when things aren't too distracting anyway. Most parents here are farmers or small shop owners, so they appreciate that we don't charge for things they don't need.
