About Rose Buds Public School – Education in Sardarshahar
Down here on Surya Mandir Road, things are usually pretty steady and predictable. Our school, Rose Buds Public School, has been a part of this Sardarshahar neighborhood for a good while now. It's easy to find us if you're heading toward the temple. We have several classrooms and a small area where the younger ones play during their breaks. The teachers here are mostly locals who have been with us for years, so they know the families and the siblings well. Churu gets really hot in the summer months, so we spent a lot of time last month making sure all the water coolers were serviced and ready for the heat. We don't go in for big advertisements or fancy brochures. People just know us from word of mouth or seeing the kids walk by. The students come in their uniforms every morning, some walking and some on bicycles. We teach the usual subjects like math, science, and the languages. Sometimes the bells don't ring exactly on the dot, but we manage to get through the lessons. It’s a plain place, nothing too decorative, just desks, benches, and chalkboards. We try to keep the courtyard clean, though the desert dust always finds its way in somehow. It’s just a normal school day for us, starting early and ending when the sun is high in the sky. We see the same faces every day and that’s how we like to run things here. It's practical and straightforward.
